Up Close – Nike Hypervenom Phantom “Radiant Reveal”

The latest pack released from Nike focuses on summer colors, allowing players to shine as nights get brighter and there are more hours to play. As part of the new Radiant Reveal Pack, the New Nike Hypervenom Phantom is a boot that stands out immediately. Featuring a clean white upper base and a rainbow pattern along the side of the boot, these are intended to shine in all conditions.

First impression, these boots are a lot better looking in person than expected. There is a serious amount of visual pop across the lateral side, as the white upper clashes with a rainbow style “mixed yellow-through-orange-through-pink” side panel palette.
Along with the tagline “Deceptive by Nature“, Nike introduced the second generation Hypervenom last June. This version features a much more specific purpose, with a plethora of dynamic pieces to improve performance for attack minded players. For example, Nike decided to provide a sense of enhanced fit and support around the ankle line of the Hypervenom II with the inclusion of a mid-cut collar. Nike Flywire was then added through the upper in an effort to secure the foot down against the soleplate. The concept is simple;  provide a locked down feel while ensuring your foot moves symbiotically with the boot.

Across the upper of the Cheap Nike Hypervenom Phantom Radiant Reveal Football Boots, definition is extremely evident as cross tailored lines allow the material and its structure to move more in unison with your movements. It is almost like strips of paper mache layered in an obscure pattern without reason. But it does serve a purpose, with better fit and a more responsive feel on the ball.

Nike has also transitioned to an off center heel cut on the mid-cut collar as opposed to the straight line cut found on the Superfly and Magista Obra. The purpose of this asymmetric cut is to free any tension on the Achilles tendon. We all have different experiences with a boot, but this was an area I didn’t enjoy quite as much due to fact it caused “tiredness” through the region.
Everything about these boots is geared toward attack natured players, those that like to make quick turns and use reactionary movement as part of their game. As a result, the soleplate of Hypervenom II is comprised of a softer compound than the original for added comfort. The split-toe design and agility traction pattern unleash a quick response for sudden changes of direction.

In terms of appearance, The new Nike Hypervenom Phantom Football boots is the sole where things get really wild visually, and although it is not a feature prominently noticed as you play, it is always nice to offer the defender chasing you something to look at! It is all about the wild color effect that seems to run through the colors of the rainbow. Coupled with the same black broken glass graphic we have seen through the Hypervenom II series and it offers a wild visual. The latter does come with a warning from Nike, as the black graphic aesthetic element will wear off during play, without affecting performance of course.

Bold Nike Tiempo Legend 6 2016 Boots Leaked

This boot is anything but classic. The white, purple, green and blue Nike Tiempo Legend 6 2016 Women's Boot introduces the boldest design for the sixth generation of the Nike Tiempo Legend Boots to date, set to be released in March 2016.

In late December 2015, Nike revealed the first-ever Women's edition of the next-gen Nike Tiempo Legend Cleats. And while the inaugural women's colorway of the Nike Tiempo Legend 6 Cleats featured a quite understated white, black and red color scheme, the second Nike Tiempo Legend 2016 Women's Boots paint job is anything but shy.

NIKE TIEMPO LEGEND 6 2016 WOMEN'S BOOTS - WHITE / BLUE / PURPLE / TURQUOISE

This is the second-ever Nike Tiempo Legend 6 Women's Edition.

Mainly white, the Nike Tiempo Legend VI 2016 Women's Soccer Boots could have been classic if Nike wouldn't have decided to combine the clean main color with garish purple, turquoise and blue applications. Interestingly, whereas all other boots of the Nike Spring 2016 Women's Boot Pack come with a stunning all-over color gradient, the Nike Tiempo Legend March 2016 Women's Soccer Shoe just includes the gradient on the Swoosh, fading from purple to green glow.
Nike combines the white, purple and turquoise upper with blue for the sole plate and the Nike lettering on the tongue, while the sole plate boasts eight purple studs, rounding off the risky design.

From a tech point of view, the Nike Tiempo Legend 6 2016 Women's Cleat is anything but extraordinary but exactly the same as the Men's and the first-ever Women's edition of the modern Kangaroo leather boots. The boot features a premium k-leather upper, while Nike most noteworthy introduced an all-new xray internal skeleton that allows the leading football boots brand to reduce most of the stitching in the forefoot area.
That's definitely not an instant classic. What do you think of the extremely bold Nike Tiempo Legend 2016 Women's Boots? Let us know in the comments below.

Blackout Next-Gen Nike Magista Obra Neymar Boots Revealed

Update: The first high-res picture of Neymar's blackout prototype boot emerged. While it was previously not certain that Neymar really trained in the next-gen Nike Magista Obra, it is now practically sure that his boots are a prototype of the second-gen control boot. And even more interestingly, his boots also slightly differ from the first leaked next-gen Nike Magista Obra paint job (thicker strings within the upper).
Having already worn prototypes of the second-generation Nike Magista Obra football boots back in August, FC Barcelona's Neymar returned to the unreleased Nike control cleats in today's training.
The second generation of the Nike Magista soccer boots will be launched after Euro 2016 in a vibrant Volt color job. Drawing inspiration from both the first-gen Nike Magista boots, as well as from the original Nike Hypervenom, the Nike Magista Obra II introduces a totally new upper and an all-new sole plate.

NEYMAR TRAINS IN BLACKOUT NIKE MAGISTA OBRA II BOOTS

Although they are completely blacked-out, the boots Neymar was spotted wearing today are most likely a prototype of the upcoming Nike Magista Obra II cleats. Slated for a July 2016 launch, the Nike Magista Obra 2 boots were already worn by the Barcelona and Brazil superstar last summer.

Just as last time, Neymar's blackout Nike Magista Obra II cleats appear to include a Nike Tiempo sole plate, while the final Nike Magista Obra 2 football boots will of course feature a new sole plate with a different, interesting stud alignment.
But will Neymar really swap the Hypervenom for the Magista?

One question remains nonetheless: Do these play-tests mean Neymar will pick up the Nike Magista for real come the launch of the second gen? With current Magista face Mario Gotze stuck in a supporting role at Bayern, having Neymar promote the all-new Nike Magista Obra II boots would definitely make sense on paper. The likes of Robert Lewandowski, Jamie Vardy and Edinson Cavani would probably make more than adequate flag carriers for the Hypervenom.

For all we know, Nike is planning to launch yet another Nike Hypervenom Neymar signature boot in August. Although this does not rule out a possible later switch, it could also be that Neymar was only chosen to try the new Nike Magista boots due to their clear Hypervenom influence.

What do you think? Will Neymar become the new face for the Magista? Drop us a line below.
